Die Baustelle Kalk versteht sich als neuer Projekt- und Kulturraum für den Stadtteil Köln Kalk.
Seit Januar befindet sich unser (bald gemeinnütziger) Kulturverein in seiner Gründungsphase. Der Verein möchte kulturelle Vielfalt fernab von institutionellen Vorgaben in den Stadtteil Kalk bringen. Der Vorstand bestehend aus Meryem Erkus (1. Vorsitzende), Nicole Wegner (2. Vorsitzende) und Fatma Erkus (Kassenwärtin) liefert mit Hilfe vieler Freunde und Helfer (sub-)kulturelle Kunst aller Art in den Osten Kölns.
Unsere Räumlichkeiten bestehen aus einer 58 qm "großen" Halle in der wir Lesungen, Performances, etc. veranstalten und aus Büroplätzen, die auf Monats-Basis mietbar sind. Darüberhinaus sind wir immer daran interessiert, jungen Künstlern eine Ausstellungs-Plattform zu bieten.

It is a place where ideas can develop. Our premises offer the perfect space for innovative concepts and niched culture. We host readings, performances, exhibitions etc. and are proud to support (young) talents from all over the world.
BAUSTELLE KALK is a place, where we make things happen.
We put on the shows, that nobody in Cologne wants to do. We give a
platform for art, that we actually like. We do readings, performances
and invite artists, that we care about.
